Portable Power Cable G-GC

Beside not being approved to be installed in a cable tray, why portable power cable like G-GC can't be installed in a cable tray?

I don't do mining applications, so my comments do not apply to that. Besides that, you can - works well. My applications of type G are all temporary power. Have never yet had an AHJ rep burst into flames walking by a type G in a cable tray. The cable and the cable tray don't seem to mind either.

I thought it could if it is 1/0 or larger.
