1) In trying to write a specification for substation equipment (capacitor bank) used for power factor correction where my generation medium is a wind farm.
The utility wants to maintain 0.95. Where can I locate some support documentation or generic specifications to accomplish this either by Enclosed switch gear or free standing rack mounted banks.
3-phase, 38 kV, 150 BIL, 3-steps of 7200 kVAR
2) whats the difference btwn - A) a power xfmr & B) autotransformer
