Power in lockers

I am working on a job where the supervisor wants to install recpts in metal personal storage lockers in a locker room. I am wondering if this is against NEC code in any way being we don't know what they will be plugging in

As long as the work complies with code (box with plate, appropriate wiring method, etc.) should not be a problem. They probably want receptacles to plug in cellphone/ipad charger. There are commercially made small lockers which have outlets for charging your laptop. We spec them for high schools, instead of kids leaving their laptops plugged into the corridor receptacles. The load should be based on 180 VA per outlet, unless you can convince the AHJ of something else...
