In a class 1 div 2 lighting application. The light is rated for C1D2. Do you need a sealoff in this fixture or can you run GRC straight through the threaded hubs on the base of the fixture?

Depends on your fixture.
Check your fixture nameplate and OEM specs - many of the newer fixtures are internally sealed and do not require an external seal and would state that on the nameplate and specs if true for your fixture.

If the luminare is actually marked for Division 2 and has an appropriate "T-Class," it is unlikely to need a seal.
