just curious
how much do you guys charge to run emt, this is a comercial building and they want to add a tankless water heater. length of 3/4" emt 65 ft , on attic, wire #6.

Rough guess? Maybe $600-750, incl. mats. It depends on how hard the ends of the run are to install.

How long do you think it would take you, including materials purchasing?

What you run is only half the equation. WHERE you run it is the other part. Strapping it to the bottom of wood joists has different labor units that caddy-strapping on steel web trusses. And joists/trusses 8 or 10 feet from the floor costs less than joists/trusses 30 feet up. An open floor to work in costs less that a floor that is cluttered (such as in a retail store), and having to work over a drop ceiling costs more yet.

The time to install will depend on job conditions, our actuals sheets, cover just about every job condition, type of construction, working height, equipment needed, crew required, Good estimates require accurate actuals data.

The words "on attic" confuse me a little. For a job like that, I'd really have to see it. I try not to make it a habit to give proposals or estimates for little work like that. That's one of those things that you "just do it".

or just a good guess:D

Assuming this installation will include a 2-pole breaker, JBox & whip to the tank(less), I'd guess higher than Larry. If it involves going inside an attic on a hot day I'd want some extra profit.
