John,
we could guesstimate at a sq. ft. number - but it is HIGHLY unlikely that it will even be remotely accurate. There are literally just too many unknowns to toss a number out there.

If the ceilings are rocked, you can pretty much forget about the JB idea.

It's would be like walking into a doctor's office and saying "I'm sick" or "Something hurts"
You have to tell the doctor something...."I ate 3 week old chicken salad"..... "I was attacked by a wolverine".

Likewise...these folks have to tell you something about this job.

It doesnt have to be accurate I am not signing anything its just a verbal for the general contractor to give the owner of the building. I would like to give a high price because if I am gonna do the job there will obviously be a learning curve. But its not like we are not all excellent pipers in this area because all the resi is done in emt. So I got that going for me.\

The ceilings are drop accoustic ceilings like I stated in the beginning of the thread. I have worked in about seven offices like this within a one floor strip mall type building. But, I have never bid them and some of the commercial reuirements are a little sketchy to me.

Well since he wants an answer by tommorrow Im just gonna tell him 20-28K for the administrative office unit.

I will probably tell him 24-30K for the actual doctors exam/office unit.
