I have procedure room with procedure table that is general care space. It is served from critical circuit and one from normal circuit.

Patient Bed Location definition in NEC 2017 Article 517.2 is patient bed location critical space. However NEC 2017 Article 517.18(A) is about patient bed location which is under General Care Space. I have engineer say patient bed definition is patient table in critical care but NEC 2017 Article 517.18(A) is under General Care Space about patient bed location.

So my question is would NEC 2017 Article 517.18(A) apply or not to the procedure room?

If your procedure room is a Category 2, General Care space, then the table in that room would not be a patient bed location. As per the definition, a patient bed location is the location of a patient sleeping bed, regardless of the patient care space category, or a bed or table in a Category 1, Critical Care space. Please note that there are other codes, like FGI, that may also apply and have additional requirements.
