Proper grounding for CATV

I've searched but there are a few aspects that are unique to my situation. I'm in the process of helping my father re-wire the coax cable in his house. The next step is to replace all the splitters and amplifiers, and I want to make sure they are properly grouded. It's fortunate that his service entrance and main panel are right beside the cable company's demark. Is it acceptable to run a ground wire from the main panel to the first splitter at the demark? Is this single ground sufficient? We have an amplifier and 2 more splitters down stream, do these need to be grounded as well, or does the initial ground at the demark suffice?

Thank you
