Proper size conductors for an automatic generator

Details: single phase 120/240v generator 153 amps output with a factory installed 175 amp ocpd. How do you size the feeder from the genset to the transfer switch?

The easiest is to size for ampacity based on the 175A ocpd. :roll:

Looking at 2/0 cu or 4/0 al, assuming 75/90°-rated wire.
