Protection from physical damage for LV class 2, comms etc cables?

Where does it state specifically that low voltage, class 2, communications etc, cabling must be protected from physical damage?

Not considered a shock a hazard but 800.24 states communications circuits shall be supported in a manner that the cable will not be damaged by 'normal use'. It also states the installation shall conform to 300.4(D) and 300.11. (2017 NEC)
