When the dimensions are shown on the drawings is it usually the width, height depth in that order?
Assuming the dim's given on the drawing follow convention, that's correct.
Well the only other convention is L?W?H. Either convention is acceptable, and transposable simply by changing orientation, either the object or the point of perspective... but there is no way to tell which if not annotated as such, or drawing is to scale and you can measure which dimensions as depicted. Otherwise, an RFI would be in order...Exactly! How would you know what they mean?
