Pull string swivel

As many of you have probably experienced after multiple pulls with a pull string, the wires begin to corkscrew around each other after about 3 pulls, and the string becomes useless due to friction. Has anyone found a remedy to eliminate the string twist? I was thing about using a small fishing swivel. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Usually through Bridal rings or J hooks.

We use a flat poly pull tape of some sort to pull a larger rope or cable in, although it can be used for lite pulls of up to 250 lb. We make sure it comes flat off the spool and wind it back up the same way. Not off the end of the spool.

Im refering more to pulling MC or Low voltage wire
