I have installed a Manrose inline extractor fan in my loft above the bathroom. I have wired it as in the diagram below and all works well. I swapped out the switch to a pull switch with neon I dictator light and have wired it as per photo below. The switch works but the neon light does not activate and after researching many forums I believe that I need a neutral wire to go to the switch as it is this that activates the neon (on the load side?).
Can I swap out the 2 core and earth going to the switch to 3 core and earth and run the neutral from the junction box to the N in at the switch then erm...I'm lost now please help!
