I was looking through some pulling bodies and found one that is called "OE". It looks like a "C" but it only has one entrance to it. It also has a cover like normal pulling bodies do. Does anyone know what it is for? The one that I am looking at was not explosion proof. Thanks for any input.

Old timers post :)

It's a "dead end" conduit body. Been a ton of years back but we used to install receptacles on conduit bodies for lighting and this was used at the end of the run,
Basically a "C" fitting with only one opening

That picture helps. I could not figure out how to put a picture on my post.

They're used for the dead end of an outdoor raceway where there is temperature probe in the fitting under the cover.
