Good evening !

Wanted to double check if i got the disconnection section right

For a two string system supplying a house, the disconnection means would be:

-The heavy duty safety switch with the fuses inside
-The AC side breakers
- The utility disconnection

would this be accurate ?

It's not totally clear what you are asking but at a high level you should have AC and DC disconnects to isolate power to the inverter. The DC disconnect is often part of the inverter, the AC disconnect is sometimes part of the inverter but can also be the AC breaker. In addition, the utility may require a bladed lockable AC disconnect.

Our AHJ seemed to only require the exterior fused disconnect for the inverter. Granted, we did a supply-side or "line side" tap above the main breaker, but we have no manual AC disconnect on the interior. Strictly by code, our designer and electricians interpretation was that the disconnect built-in to the inverter would satisfy the disconnect means in the event of an outage, but we still did the exterior one to make everyone happy. And it was minimal work/cost to do so; $125 for the SquareD disconnect, and an hour for the electrician to just the wire out and back in.

This passed on one PV interface w/grid job, given the inherent RSD inverter function>
