pv inverter interconnection to electric meter and main panel

Hello!
I am confused in a basic question
I am seeing some sld of solar system in which Ac side in connecting to electric meter
and in some ac side is connecting to main panel

I do not know WHY THESE TWO CONNECTION ARE DONE (i know that its on grid system but WHY connections are done in 2 different ways)
and how things will work in these 2 ways

The code allows both methods. Both methods achieve the goal of connecting the system on the customer's side of the meter.

The first one you show is a load side connection. It is subject to 705.12 in the 2020 NEC*. These rules tend to restrict the size of the system more than the rules for the 2nd method. The 2nd method is a supply side connection and is subject to 705.11.* It tends to be more expensive and inconvenient to actually install.

*Numbering of sections has changed in each of the last several code cycles.

Most of the threads in the Photovoltaic forum here have to do with the details of these rules, so it might help to read through them, after you review the code.

in the load side connection as i shown in image pv breaker is attached at opposite side of service panel breaker
and NEC says
serice breaker * 1.20 > 1.25 inverter current + service breaker ampere rating
