pv system code reference

i need the code referance wher it states that overcurrent protection is only required when six or more pv conductors are installed in the same raceway. 690.9(a) ex,..is not the one,...does anybody where i can find it ? thanks

Sorry, but I know of no such requirement. Are you certain it exists???

The only issue I'm aware of regarding a quantity of six is 690.14(C)(4) Maximum Number of Disconnects. A search for six in the 2011 NEC PDF version confirms this subsection as the only one in Article 690. Perhaps it's a myth based on this requirement...
