I have a situation which involves 2 separate owners each having separate lots (Lot A & Lot B) The owner of Lot A has a duplex that is being built on his property and wants to have an interactive PV system installed to serve the building on Lot A. However thru a supplemental agreement the owner of Lot B has agree to allow the PV system on an existing structure on Lot B to connect the service on Lot A ( no connection to service of Lot B to Interactive system).

Is there a NEC violation? Code section?

No comments? if this is not clear in description let me know what may help to identify the issue. I find the situation unusual which is why I am searching for comments or maybe some type of existing example the forum has experienced.
Personally I can not find a NEC code violation though I will probably need additional disconnects due to separate structures.

I do not see any outright violation. The NEC covers premises wiring. The term premises is commonly used to mean one tract of land, its buildings, and appurtenances. However, the word itself is plural to begin with. We cannot say with certainty that the covered premises should be limited to one tract of land for each application of the NEC.

I don't see an electrical code violation. Lot B owner is very kind to allow the PV system to be on his land. However, (there is always a however in life), I'd check with a lawyer on potential problems with ownership.

Not an NEC violation but you may have problems pulling a permit because there's two properties involved. Some kind of written easement will probably be needed, or at any rate would be a good idea.

FYI. There is an easement agreement filed and documented in place.
