EDIT: Cancel this post. I thought this was in regard to the spring based benders and didn't realize this unit used heat.

EDIT: I have had very good luck with the propane Hotbend torch and my greenlee heat box. Both work well.

I have a greenlee box that does up to 2". I need something to make slight adjustments to 3"

I've used the hotbend on PVC up to 4" without any issues. It says it will do up to 6" pvc. The same company makes a product called Shrinkfast that is identical expect the btu output is a little less (it is made for the shrinkwrap industry). The shrinkfast models look and work exactly like the hotbend and are a few hundred dollars less. I'm sure it would probably work on 4".

That looks nice. Currently I use a propane torch with a fan tip. I don't usually need to bend more than a couple of pieces.

How large of pipe can you bend with that torch? Can you kick 3" to 4"?
I haven't tried anything larger than 2". It makes the pipe as flexible as a hot box but for a smaller section. You do have the keep the torch in constant motion to avoid burning the pipe. Do you mean offset 3-4"? Yes, you can. It will put a 3-4" kick in a 90 as well.

i do that all the time (y) ~RJ~

We've had a couple of the Hotbend torches for a few years. It'll do 3" conduit. We initially bought one to bend 5" utility conduit for a project. It did the job, but we plugged both ends to speed the heating process up though.

If you had plugs that could hold a little pressure, I bet it would help maintain the roundness of the conduit while stressing it (bending).
