Thanks for the private message and concern that you have expressed. It's individuals like yourself that help's make this a better world to live in.

I also would be open to any support that you may have to offer. This will be a very hard and daunting task ahead of me and the company. To change over thirty years of bad habits. But I can tell that they, the maintenance staff, want to learn and are very interested in what I known.

Again my background is in machine controls, PLC's and Servo systems. I try to always follow the NEC in any electrical application that I'm involved with. I'm very persistent on getting the right answers. So this forum will be a great tool for me.

If this help's to prevent any future accidents in this company it is will worth the effort.

This man of 32 years, basically just starting his live, leaves behind two children, boys ages 7 years and 9 years. This is the part that is very sad.

as you stated, this is a great site made up of those in the industry who take time out of their schedule to try and help others. i wish to thank all of them for their help in making this site a success!!
i try to help in areas that i can, and in your case, first hand knowledge of what you are trying to set up is the best teacher. i hope i have at least helped you in your task at hand.

i forgot to mention a booklet you will probably need. NFPA 79 - Electrical standard for industrial machinery. its a great book dealing with machine control issues.
