QO build quality of their cabinets has gone to the crapper.
They do make single phase panelboards, but nobody wants to pay for them, except commercial customers. They are used frequently for computer and pos systems because it’s cheaper to use single phase ups/upc units. There all garbage if they don’t bolt down.
Br probably the worse but good price!!!!!
I wish some one made a resi bolt on.
I still like the old bulldogs I find
I just bought four of these for a 32 space/38 circuit panel that has plug on neutral. Because of the plug on neutral bars, there are no spaces that these breakers fit. Therefore it is impossible for there to be more circuits than there are spaces, so the label says 38 circuits is meaninglessYeah that's definitely a negative also. Another negative is the CTL twins can't be easily defeated like most other brands
The patent must have expired for the Visi-Trip feature as I wrote earlier, Eaton has added it to CH breakers, but both QO, & CH breakers are premium product lines.QO is my go-to:
1) 1-screw and you can remove/replace the guts (I remove them to prevent damage until dressing the panel)
2) Many of the designs have not changed in forever. I did this recently with a 6-space QO outdoor that needed a 7th space. Rather than replace the enclosure, I just swapped it out to 8-space guts.
3) I like the Visi-trip. For HO types, asking them about "middle handle spacing" can be like speaking GREEK. Easy to ask if they see any Orange.
