Note that since triplex and quadplex are not specifically listed in Table 396.10(A) some inspection authorities do not permit the use of those cables for installations covered by the NEC.
It is my opinion that you can make a case that list item 6 (Other factory-assembled, multiconductor control, signal, or power cables that are identified for the use) would permit the use of triplex or quadplex, but you really need to check with your inspection authority before using it.
