why the double staples??
That would be me.

Because, well, except for the two SER cables, there are two cables in each KO, and the open-engineered-lumber ceiling is about 4' up, where the cables come down from.

The HO wanted the basement to have a 10' ceiling height, so he could have a full 8' finished height below the ducts and plumbing for when/if he ever finished any part of it.

It does look very nice,the problem is that the romex is not protected from physical damage.Article 334.15(B).Nor did the electrician use preasure treated wood to secure the electrical panel to the concrete.That would have been required in Washington State as I have done similar instalations in the past.
