Did anybody ever work with that wire mold 1500 series over floor raceway? I try to put it in one time and I was going to slide it over at the base channel on that was a chore! They say you snap at him, I'm going to contact the manufacturer and get some insulation tips, but I figured I'd ask here and see if anybody knew the inside track on that material Thanks guys image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpeg

I put some down about 4 yrs ago. If I recall the cover snaps over the bottom with a few quick raps with a rubber mallet. Set one side of the top to the bottom then pop it in place.

I thought it was like 500. Preassembled and used that way. I wasn't aware you could take it apart or snap it together.

whack and whack

whack and whack

My toes are on it right now. What do you want to know about it?

yeah the trouble was in tightening it too close to the floor.
The cover snaps down under it so there has to be "just the right amount" of gap between the channel and the floor
so you can rap it down with the mallet.

Otherwise you just whack and whack and throw the piece away.

None of this is explaining in the directions, you figure it out with your fingernails as feeler gauge.

thanks!IMG_20160821_211656.jpg
