I'm not sure if I'm installing this to code. Hypothetically, I have a panel with two two?inch nipples mounted into a 8x8 wire way. I install all the brach circuit raceways into the wire way (trough). I install the grounding conductors to a ground bar and run a large single ground through the two inch nipple to save circular area in the nipples for future use. Is that correct? Would I not be creating the lowest impedance path. If so what table would I use to size the ground accordingly. Thank you for your time and effort.

Re: Question about Brach circuit grounding conductors

This is installation is common and most practical.
As long as your equipment ground is large enough for the largest branch circuit based on standard OCP, you are correct. Your 2" nipples do however,
have to be nipples. 24"s or less. They can then be filled @ 60%.

Re: Question about Brach circuit grounding conductors

Thanks Justin!! I forgot to include that over 30 conductors in that branch wireway requires deration for said branch circuits!!!!
