We have a ceiling fan which was slow ever since we bought the house 10 years ago. It always ran slow and high was more like medium. Few days ago, one of my kids was painting for a school project and we ran the fan on high overnight to be sure the paint would be dry the next morning. When I got there the next morning, the fan was running like real high, and it works fine now. We hadn't ran it for few days and then I turned it on high to see if it's still fast or slow again, and it's still fast. I want to know how this could have possibly happen, because this is a real mystery.
