I had a member PM me with a question I am not sure I understand. Rather than answer it incorrectly, I thought I would throw it out for you all to answer wrong. :grin:

Describe a 240v circuit that shall be grounded.

It sounds too simple but I think I must be missing something.

I'd try it this way, describe the ones that can't or don't have to be.

And I'm gonna presume it's an NEC question.

Right here.
A 240 volt nonmetallic lampholder, served by a nonmetallic raceway, wouldn't have to be grounded. Nothing to bond, really.
