Hi folks,
I do quite a bit of telecom fiber-to-the-home deployments that use a UPS for a power source. These devices attach to a home's interior wall and have a 6 foot, detachable, flexible power cord. Some customers have been asking for longer AC power cords. I have been looking through the NEC and I have not seen any discussion of power cord length restrictions for UPS applications. Do you folks know of any NEC or UL restrictions on the allowed AC power cord length?
Thanks!
