Hello and thank you in advance for your comments. I am installing a new 100A 120/240 v service on a residential detached garage. The roof is low and as per the local utility company I need to use 2-1/2" RMC for the mast's conduit. I'm installing a 100AMP meter and it looks like I may be able to use a standard 2-1/2" hub on the meter instead of the offset adapter that comes with the kit. In the past, on the few mast kits that I have installed, using 2" RMC I needed to use the offset adapter.
Has anyone not used the offset adapter and only used a standard hub? Is it permitted to not use the offset adapter? I'm not sure if the kit is seen as a listed assembly or can you pick and choose the parts you need. Thank you.
