Questions about the Fluke 1000FLT Fluorescent Light Tester

Hello, If anyone could help,

Looking to purchase the Fluke 1000FLT Tester. We do a lot of commercial signs and office lighting maintence and thinking this tester could come in handy.. Have some questions when using the tester on HO Bulbs and HO Ballast. I did some research and from my understanding this Tester will not test HO bulb filaments, seems to only except the Pin style, Would that be correct? Does the Lamp Tester using the Rod Extender work on HO bulbs and HO Ballast? Could use some feedback, Pro or Cons or any info would be most appreciated.. Also if anyone has any input on other makers of this tester, please share. Thanks again

I bought a lamp and ballast tester a long time ago. Total waste of money.

Just swap lamps, it's almost as quick and always reliable.

I agree we purchased one, found it easier to swap lamps and ballast.
