I know that a cable that feeds a panel/ sub-panel or similar equip. is called a feeder but what about a motor power cable. Is it right to call it a motor feeder cable or just motor power cable or motor branch circuit cable or something?

Where is the last OCPD?

Branch Circuit. The circuit conductors between the final overcurrent device protecting the circuit and the outlet(s).

Feeder. All circuit conductors between the service equipment, the source of a separately derived system, or other power supply source and the final branch-circuit overcurrent device.

yeah I don't want to call it a feeder either but there's no outlet involved just OCPD to motor, its kinda funky I wonder if that changes it

Actually the J-box on the motor would be an "outlet" as defined in Article 100 of the NEC.

Outlet. A point on the wiring system at which current is taken to supply utilization equipment.
