Quiet Mushroom fan?

Has anyone found a quiet attic vent fan?

Never had a need to look for one. If it's not a mechanical noise issue, and a "quiet fan" cant be found, perhaps a speed control on the fan, or relocation away from where its a bother. Could always add some insulation under where the fan is for sound adsorption too.

A bigger fan (larger diameter) operating at lower rpm and a larger opening into the area being exhausted will result in less noise than a smaller fan at higher rpm's with smaller openings into the area being exhausted if the same amount of air is being moved.
