That is what i was refering to, where the flex bends into the screen, or perf board, at this point it builds a restriction, the biggest problem we find is cat hair in the flex, and it can build up in less then a year, we contacted the manufacture, and they say that is not an approved way to vent, they recommend no bends, stright up, or stright out with proper vent cap.

We just get it close to the soffit vent (1-2')

Somebody is getting fluffy WAY to close to the vent!

We were trying to figure out how the flex built up with hair in less then a year, turn out she is running a grooming business out of her bathroon, usually takes years, to build up that much,
