Racking Systems Listed to UL 2703

UL 2703 is the listing standard for PV racking systems. UL Standard 2703 has 3 criteria to the listing which may include mechanical loading only, grounding and bonding only, and a fire classification. So a racking system (or 1 of its parts) can have a UL 2703 listing and be marked, but not be investigated for all 3 criteria. Keep in mind that not all racking components need all 3 criteria, for example the bonding lug that we land the equipment ground at may only be investigated for bonding and grounding.

One has to go to UL Product IQ (If listed by UL) to verify what a PV racking system component is tested (investigated) for as described in the 2022 IAEI article below.

Do you check if a racking system is tested for all 3 criteria in the UL 2703 standard?
