Is there NEC or other Code requirement for the depth of Duct Bank (15KV system) crossing rail way truck? Does this fall under Table 300.50 Column 5?

Is it privately owned, or by Utility Co.?

It is privately own.

That is what I would use, but the deeper the better in my opinion. Not sure what NESC would require, but utilities are usually pretty deep with their primary conductors.

I couldn?t imagine crossing a rail road without the railroad having an engineer envolved

After you pointed out NESC, I checked it out and they do have requirements.

Section 32 320A (Fig. 320-5) Under street railway not less than 36? and Railroad not less than 50?.
