Please help me to answer this question. A 16.75 kw rated range has a full load current value of____ amps for load calculations purposes. Can you show me the formula.

Assuming a single phase power supply:
@120V - 139.58A
@240V - 69.79A

I = (kW * 1000) / (panel Voltage * item PF * item Eff * sqrt(panel phase))

with the sqrt of 1 ? being 1 and 3 ? being 1.73....

I hope that helps.

What is the voltage? Look at Table 220.55 column C.

1 Range would have a maximum demand of 8 kw + a 5% increase for every additional KW or major fraction there of more than 12.

Additional KW = 16.75 kw - 12 kw = 4.75 (round up)

Increase = 5% per kw x 5 kw = 25%

8 kw x 25% = 2 kw

Total load = 8 kw + 2 kw = 10 kw

I=P/E
I=10000/240=41.6 amps
