One thing I never understood was why we had equipment that you would use once a year on a service truck like a 2" bender hogging up space with no 2" equipment. I always believed this epidemic mind blowing. Chances are with service you always have to get supplies. Depending on the location, we would call an order in to the supply house and they will bring the junk to us sometime in the day. This is industrial.

I don't have the crate source on hand (I post from home). I know we had to buy a minimum order (50 maybe) of them @ about $12 a pop. I believe the crate shelves are 20" deep.

In the olden days, milk crates would somehow find their way onto my truck. Once I started plastering my name all over the trucks I figured I better get rid of improperly allocated items.

I am still tempted to steal them when I see them stacked up behind restraunts/stores. There was a stack of about 20 nice new black ones at a job this morning, stacked up in front of the service section.
