I read something on another post where Square D had a recall on some of their AFCI breakers for problems they had with them not tripping. The post did not go in depth about this recall and I was wondering if anyone else had information about this. Was the recall for Square D QO or Homeline or both? Also, what were the dates of manufacture and or the serial or lot numbers of the breakers?

Searched US site for "recall"

For licensed electricians;
Identifying the date code
It is important to note that in addition to
identifying the appropriate product, you must
remember to also check the product date code.
Only products produced between March 1, 2004
and September 23, 2004 are affected.
To determine if a product was produced during
this timeframe, you must find the product date
code, stamped in red on the breaker label
located just above the wiring terminal.

Sure, replace the breaker then that pesky ground to neutral issue finally rears it's head. . . Sorry mam, now we need to open up possibly all of your electrical boxes to find another problem you didn't know about... :grin:
