If I am adding up receptacle loads, they are a known number on the drawings,do I take for example 180va x 200(amount) =36,000 ,OR do I take the 36,000 and apply the demand factor to it? This are non dwelling buildings so can I take the first 10,000va at 100% and 50% of the rest or do I use the full 36,000va? Thanks

Can you apply a demand factor? Yes. Should you? Not so easy to answer. It depends on what you expect the actual loads to be. I only use a demand factor on receptacles if it's the only way to get the load on a panel within bounds.
