Receptacle marking

In art 406(3)(E) a controlled outlet is required to be "permanently" marked with the word "controlled" and a symbol. I know they make an outlet stamped with the symbol and the word controlled. I also know Hubbell makes stickers with the word and symbol. Would the stickers be considered permanent?

If not acceptable to the AHJ, Leviton has ones permanently marked... 16252-PI for example
