Is there anything in the code that says that receptacles that are between 10 and 20 ft. from the inside walls of pool have to be in conduit? I can't find it, only that they have to be GFI protected. They have nothing to do with the circulating system of the pool. I'm doing some work on an existing pool, where the wiring for the receptacles will be outside the fence area, and the receptacles themselves will be mounted on the inside of the fence poles. The receptacles will be between the 10 and 20 ft. distance as far as I know now. Thinking about using UF cable maybe. Thanks .. Steve

Nope.

Correct 680.22(A)(5).

Make sure that the receptacles are at least 10 feet away from the inside walls of the pool.

There is nothing in the NEC regarding the specific wiring method used to supply receptacles at or around a pool not associated with the pool. However, there are requirements on keeping wiring methods buried underground away from the pool. See 680.10 of the NEC.
