so you can have one 20 amp circuit with say 3-4 duplexs feed thru eac other without pigtailing ?

Istall them however you like. Just make sure you're consistant. Remember the neat and workmanlike rule.

Personally, I install them the 'right' way (so they resemble this smiley hmy.
