Recessed Downlight Install

When installing a recessed downlight in an acoustical drop ceiling is there always hardware needed that does not come with the fixture to install it. If it's installed in the middle of a tile wouldn't you need this? How would it stay in place? Thanks.

That is what I buy for acoustical tile. There is a can I am possibly buying soon that is only made for acoustical tile so the bracket is made for that. Problem is we are using it in a resi situation
