What lumens LED recessed lights do you use for a great room 25 foot high ceiling ? I think the usual 850 or so will have little effect. Thank you.

Look for the "high out put". They're residential and commercial type for that height

It is a 25 X 30 foot great room in a house. The customer is having us take down track lighting and replace with recessed. They requested 16 recessed lights. Thank you
At this point, I would determine how much light you want at 3-5 feet above the floor, and start looking for manufacturers photometrics on various lamps. Lumen output is only part of the equation. How the light is distributed ('flood', 'spot' etc), color temperature, customer preference and their aging eyes, the spacing between the lights.....
