I have been requested to write a test for the newly recruited staff, the test will be given to a people from different levels and electrical background. (From mangers to electrician)

Please would you help me to write some important question that will assist us evaluating the applicants?

One test would not fit all. Also, a test has to be "calibrated" in order for the results to mean anything. What good does it do to give a test to such a wide range of people with varying knowledge? You really need to find sources for existing tests that can be used for evaluating people that are more in tune with the desired results. :smile:

A lot depends on what it is you are trying to test for. Code knowledge, electrical knowledge, safety?

It makes no sense to give a test based on the NEC to a manager of a department that only peripherally deals with it.
