Red paint. Red Tape?

(Red paint marks on the ground = Dig here.) + (Red burial Tape 1’ above the conductors = Just one more bucket down.)

I guess they must teach those equations to Excavator operators but fail to put in the summation of what 600 ft of 500kcmil al, 200 ft of 4/0 al, and 200 ft of 1/0 al cost.

New job this week. My guys are running the excavator. Warned them before I left that the faulted wires could very well be under the 8" water line from well to pivot.

I hope no one in Walmart was offended when I got the call about the Fine Mess they had down in that hole. :rant:

They took my suggestion that the wire could be under the pipe to mean move over two feet. That logic would have worked if they had moved East instead of West.
