The white shirt, tie & suit really dates the picture. That was a $2.00 setup for sure. Shoes - black Wingtips?
Is that typical attire for any of us here anymore?
They don't even put a suit or dress on people for burial in a lot of instances anymore, usually something nice yet casual.

It might surprise you.. I was still wearing a suit and tie up until I was 65. There were also a good many others here and in the Senate for example who wear suits and dress code. I don't now - I'm 76. I wear cargo pants, boots, and a warm shirt or a jumper so I can go out with my dog.

... I thought this thread was going to be about red hair.
That was my same first impression, until I engaged my brain for about 16.67 ms and contemplated which website I was looking at.

A light hearted reply ...

Trade in the suit & tie for a chef's tunic & toque, and you could have passed for one of the Campbell Kids.

A light hearted reply - well it is Christmas!
I moved south with various tools and instruments, Lots of them. We have now moved to the Yorkshire Dales in England. when I retired. So I have not a lot of tools I need. And, being retired, I'm not the redhead I was.................

🤔

I pictured you in my minds eye as looking more like Lionel Hardcastle…😁

Excellent British actor.
Try Illya Kuryakin. A Scotsman - like me!
This has been a fun thread. It started with red pieces of plastic, and has drifted into David McCallum. :)

I never watched The Avengers as a kid, so my early rememberances of McCallum were him playing Eric Ashley-Pitt.

I think we still have a laptop just like that in the storeroom across the hall from my office. Not sure why we haven't recycled it yet.

My first job in radio didn't require a suit jacket, but dress shirt, nice pants and a tie were a must. Had to mind the reel-to-reel tape machines when they were rewinding, or your tie would get sucked in.

I know a few people of the older generation that insist on dressing in suit and tie when going to the doctor.

Thank you kindly, Sir. Two years ago I got seriously ill and since then words in speech have been problematic. This forum greatly helps me with text rather than speech.

Yes, the tie problem...........:)
And I am older, 76, but no suit for the doc.
