I need help determining the difference between two relays.... Relay with / without socket .... I am using these to install a thermostat in my RV. The relay with part number SRSI-24AC/DC-A, which includes the socket, was used in a DIY video to do exactly what I am doing. This relay cost $13. The same site has the SRSI-24AC/DC, which does not include the socket. I have to get four of these relays for the project and would prefer spending less but I have to admit I do not know what the socket is. Basically I am activating the coil with 24vac. The power on the output of the relay will be 12vdc. I guess I just need to know if I need the one with the socket or not. Any help appreciated.
