I had a Viper remote start/alarm installed about a month ago. It is great. I have the trunk release button wired to all the doors in the rear of my truck. (KUV body) One button locks and arms entire truck. One button disarms and unlocks cab. One button unlocks all rear access doors. Pretty sweet.

Audio system being installed as we speak, picking up today.

Seems odd being an electrician hiring someone to wire stuff for me. :grin:

sounds smart to me.

i don't much care for auto wiring. can do it, prefer not to.
i do what i do, they do what they do, and we keep score with
the checkbook.

besides, once you've delved into auto wiring to the level of
discovering you need a digital converter to interface the CANN
buss, you'll be damaged forever.

whats a cann buss? dunno. what's it do? dunno. why is it not on
any econoline except an 06 diesel? dunno. how long did it take
the expert installer to sort this out? 3 extra hours.

don't go there girlfriend. anything that requires you to lay on your
