I am working on calculating demand load for a motel building. The plan is for each room to have Heater, AC, fridge, lights and receptacle. The service to the building was requested prior to this load calculation but the client has indicated that if the demand load comes higher than the service they have from utility, they can remove some loads from the room (such as AC).
My question is, is there any code requirement on what electrical loads are mandatory to be installed as a minimum in a motel room? and what loads are optional based on owner's preference (just so we can decide to keep or remove those depending on load analysis).
